On July 8, 2018 the Woodstock RC Club hosted its annual Mac Rowe Fun Fly. Sunny skies and a light breeze were perfect conditions for flying and many participants enjoyed the event. See the gallery for some great pics.
On the weekend of June 16 & 17 the Woodstock Radio Controlled Flying Club hosted our annual IMAC event. Check out our photo gallery for pics.
On January 1, 2018 several members of the Woodstock RC Club braved the frigid weather to attend the annual New Years Fun Fly. Temps around -16 C and high winds were no match for Bryan’s hot chili. Coffee, hot chocolate, and many other treats were served as well.
On July 9, 2017 the Woodstock RC Club hosted the annual Mac Rowe Memorial Fun Fly. The weather was great if not a touch breezy but that didn’t prevent a great number of pilots and spectators from attending. Check our gallery and Facebook page for tons of photos.
Despite the questionable weather forecast we had 16 pilots show up for our IMAC contest June 17/18. The road warriors of the weekend were Juan Sr and Juan Jr who travelled all the way from Montreal to fly with us for the weekend. Mother nature had something else in mind however, after two rounds we were hit with flash thunder storms and Tornado warnings so decided to retire to the upper Thames Brewery to wait out dinner reservations. On May 22, 2017 the Woodstock RC Club hosted an RC demo session in Southside Park as part of the Victoria Day activities. See the gallery for more pics.

On March 5, 2017 the Woodstock Radio Controlled Flying Club participated in the Rec & Leisure show. It was very well attended and a lot of people asked questions about the club. A flying demo was given by Bryan Mailloux and Matt Lynes with Steve Ruxton giving the play-by-play.

On January 1, 2017 the Woodstock RC Club held its annual New Years FunFly. Approximately 19 members braved the cold to enjoy hot dogs, hot chili, hot chocolate, hot coffee, and chilly flying. It was a great time! See the gallery for some pics.
